Terms and Conditions (T&C)
1. Scope, Provider
(1) These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between

(hereinafter “Provider”) and the users (hereinafter “User”).

2. Description of Services
(1) The Provider offers a macOS application (hereinafter “App”) with the following core functions:
- Sign in via Apple
- Authentication via Supabase
- Local contact management in SwiftData
- Local file management (import / reference)
- Email sending & receiving via Nylas
- Email tracking (pixels, webhooks)
- Subscription management (three plans)
- Local backups (JSON)
(2) The App is intended for private or business use by registered users.
3. Registration, Account, Credentials
(1) Registration is performed via Apple Sign-In; authentication is handled via Supabase.
Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and not sharing them with third parties.
(2) The Provider may block accounts if there is reasonable evidence of violations of these Terms and Conditions.
4. Prices, Subscriptions, Payment Terms
(1) The App offers three paid plans. Prices, durations, and cancellation periods are displayed during the ordering process.
(2) Access may be temporarily restricted or suspended in case of payment issues.
5. Usage Restrictions / Prohibited Actions
Users agree to use the App and provided endpoints solely for their intended purpose.
- Abuse, spamming, brute-force attacks
- Bypassing technical protection mechanisms
- Unauthorized access to other accounts
- Reselling or creating derivative services based on the App without written permission
- Illegal or immoral use
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
6. Data Responsibility, Backups, Local Storage
(1) Users are solely responsible for backing up their local data. Backups (JSON) are stored exclusively on the device.
(2) Server-side, only references / UUID links are stored. Personal content (contact names, emails, files) remains local on the device.
7. Integration of Third-Party Services
(1) Nylas is used for email functionality. Sent emails include message IDs and tracking mechanisms where applicable.
(2) Users are responsible for using email functions lawfully (e.g., compliance with anti-spam regulations).
8. Liability, Warranty, Limitation of Liability
(1) Statutory warranty rights apply.
(2) Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for violations of essential contractual obligations.
(3) Users are liable for data loss or misuse to the extent that it is their responsibility.
9. Contract Term, Termination
(1) Subscriptions run according to the chosen term and can be canceled via settings.
Upon cancellation, server-side links are deleted. Local data remains unless removed by the user.
(2) In case of violations, extraordinary termination may occur.
10. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
(1) Material changes will be communicated in the App or via email. Significant changes require explicit user consent.
(2) Editorial changes can be published in patch notes.
11. Final Provisions
(1) German law applies.
(2) Place of jurisdiction is – to the extent permitted – the provider’s registered office.
(3) Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
